On Tuesday, scientists revealed the finding of an exquisitely preserved dinosaur that was about to hatch from its egg like a chicken. The embryo was discovered in Ganzhou in southern China covered with Cretaceous rock layers and researchers estimate it is at least 66 million years old. It is believed to be a toothless theropod dinosaur, or oviraptorosaur, and has been named Baby Yingliang. The researchers claim that it is one of the best dinosaur embryos ever found in history.
