Afifa Sultana Ema

A perfectly preserved dinosaur egg that was found in Ganzhou, Southern China, which is about 66 millions years old. It is one of the most complete dinosaur embryos helping us understand the link between the ancient species and modern birds. The embryo was curled in a position known as "tucking," which is a habit, found in birds shortly before hatching, according to the paleontologists. The researchers named the fossil "Baby Yingliang". It is entirely about 27 centimeters long and lies inside a 17 centimeters long fetus. It may have a higher chance of death if it fails to tuck. This fossil was belonged to a oviraptorosaur a.k.a. 'Egg thief lizards' were feathered dinosaurs that lived in present Asia and North American region during the late cretaceous period.
