To quench this thirst, NASA has launched a new mission, the Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE), to learn more about one of the most powerful waves, X-ray. The mission will provide us a different perspective that we wouldn't have had from just looking at the brightness and color spectrum.
