South Africa did a very good job by detecting the new variant Omicron. But, many countries are cutting of international flights with South Africa thinking that they are the main cause of producing this new variant. It is damaging their good relationships with other countries and thus it is acting like a punishment for them. South Africa thinks they should be rewarded because they are the first country to detect this new variant and it has been proved that other countries have this variant too. South Africa is not responsible to spread this various to those countries.
