Masrur Ishraq, the creator of Third Eye, earned the Joy Bangla Youth Award for Social Inclusion in 2021 for his work at the University of Chittagong to aid visually challenged students (CU). Since the beginning of 2019, his company has offered over 400 visually impaired students with audiobooks, lecture recordings, and stenography during exams. After seeing a student asking for a stenographer before a test, he was inspired to start Third Eye. With 550 active volunteers in Chattogram, Dhaka, Jashore, Feni, and Rajshahi, as well as five additional districts around the country, the platform has spread beyond CU's campus. Third Eye now offers visually challenged people debate, computer, and pronunciation lessons, as well as a variety of vocational and personal skill development programs. The platform made use of online information, workshops, and YouTube videos.
