The headline drew my attention at first sight. "A guiding light for the visually impaired" piqued my interest, and I was wondering as to what type of guideline would be available to assist visually impaired persons! Mr. Masrur Ishraq, the creator of third I, performed an outstanding job in assisting the sight impaired. Many people in the University may have seen their visually challenged peers, but none of them, including faculty members, have ever considered their difficulties. The visually handicapped pupils had to locate their own stenographers for the exam, making it exceedingly difficult for them to proceed. While everyone else was writing and concentrating on their tests, the visually impaired students had to rely on the stenographer, who they had to locate on their own. The Third Eye has grown beyond Chattagram University's campus and now has over 550 active volunteers in Chattagram, Dhaka, Jessore, Feni, and Rajshahi. The executive committee is made up of 31 people. To administer this organization, they have established necessary rules and regulations. Mr. Mashrur Ishraq received competency-based training and assessment from the Bangladesh Technical Education Board and is now a trainer. Masrur dreams of a day when no one who is blind or visually handicapped feels like an outsider in society.
