In 2021, Masrur Ishraq, the founder of Third Eye, received the Joy Bangla Youth Award for Social Inclusion for his efforts to assist visually impaired students at the University of Chittagong (CU). His business has provided audiobooks, lecture recordings, and stenography during exams to over 400 visually challenged students since the beginning of 2019. He was inspired to launch Third Eye after observing a student looking for a stenographer before a test. Today, the platform has grown beyond CU's campus, with 550 active volunteers in Chattogram, Dhaka, Jashore, Feni, and Rajshahi, as well as five other districts around the country. Third Eye now provides debate, computer, and pronunciation instruction to visually impaired people, as well as a variety of vocational and personal skill development projects. Online content, workshops, and YouTube videos were all used in the platform. To increase Awareness.
