The nominations for Oscars are very diverse this year. Renowned actors like Denzel Washington, Will Smith,Penélope Cruze and some more were nominated in different categories this year. Denzel created history by earning his tenth nomination for "The Tragedy of Macbeth" remaining the most nominated black actor. "The Power of the Dog" directed by Jane Campion has 12 nominations this year leading the Oscar board. Will Smith received nominations for 'Best Actor" and "Best Picture" becoming the 2nd black man to be nominated for both acting in and producing the same film in the same year. Star couple Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem become the sixth married couple to be nominated in acting categories in the same year. The Academy Awards is slated to air on March 27 at Dolby Theatre, Hollywood.
