Bangladesh at last beat New Zealand by eight wickets and earned their first test win against the Black caps and a first win across the formats on NZ soil after 32 unsuccessful attempts. It was a rare event and demonstration of Bangladeshi player's sheer willpower and ability. Bangladesh Cricket Board has repeatedly failed to provide fast bowlers with a platform and the team was having a poor form since last T20 world cup. Moreover, everybody lost hope when they got a demoralising defeat in home series against Pakistan. The test series against Bangladesh was considered like a stroll in the park for the Black caps, but the tigers proved it wrong. The star performer of the match was pace bowler Ebadot Hossain for his six-wicket burst in New Zealand's second innings. And the batting presentation was outstanding and worldclass. This win will surely increase confidence among all and help in upcoming series.
