In their 33th attempt, Bangladesh outclassed New Zealand in every department and almost every session. Without their most experienced opener Tamim Iqbal and the star Shakib Al Hasan they had to bat really well. Their openers Mahumud hasan joy(78) and Shadman Islam(22) set the platform for the rest of the batters where Nazmul Hossain Shanto (64),Mominul Hoque(88) and Liton Kumar Das (86) played outstanding innings to set a big total. The pace trio of Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam and star of the match Ebadot Hossain outclassed the New Zealand batters. Ebadot Hossain has achieved his best ever bowling figure by taking 6 wickets in the 2nd innings which restricted New Zealand for only 169.The New Zealand bowlers couldn’t do what they were expected. Bangladesh played like a unit and performed like a champion team with great determination and pure hard work. They earned their first ever test Victory in New Zealand with glory and dignity.
